About Dr. Lesley Morical
Dr. Morical started out as a primary care, family naturopathic doctor in 1988. In 2016, Dr. Morical was offered the opportunity to join the Tahoma Clinic as a staff doctor. There, under the mentorship of Dr. Jonathan Wright (“the father of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy”), she received intensive training in hormone replacement and the treatment of thyroid and adrenal conditions.
During the pandemic, she moved to a small health counseling space in the Lake City Professional Building. No longer a primary care doctor, Dr. Morical provides specialty care for thyroid, adrenal and hormone health, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. During 2024-2025, she completed the training to become designated as an Autism Center of Excellence (COE). She is happy to provide autism diagnostic evaluations for children age 6 and older, with a special understanding of the diagnosis of autism in girls, teens, and adult men and women.

Payment
Insurance will be phased out in spring 2027 and Dr. Morical will return to a cash-based practice.
Prices in 2026-2027 are $300 for a complex, new patient evaluation, $190 for a detailed, 40-minute return visit, $95 for a 20-minute follow-up consultation, and $45 for a quick question, to sign forms, or for a prescription adjustment or lab/imaging order. Washington medical marijuana authorizations: new patients (in-person evaluation only) $110 and renewals $90. Autism diagnostic evaluations: Covered by Coordinated Care and Molina/Washington Apple Care.
Insurance
Cash patients are welcome. A coded superbill will be provided if requested.
Dr. Morical will END her contracts with insurance companies in spring 2027, with the exception of Medicaid/Washington Apple Health.

Prescriptions and lab tests
Washington residents under age 65, your insurance should cover regular lab tests and medications prescribed by Dr. Morical.
Compounded bioidentical hormones are not covered by insurance. Dr. Morical is happy to find alternatives that work with your budget.
If you don’t have insurance, if you live out of state, or if you are on Medicare, Dr. Morical will give you information on how to get low-cost lab tests.
